It should be here Thursday, so even though I planned on getting the Fi first, it's looking like the battery is still gonna get here first! The one thing is that I don't have an AGM battery charger, so if I end up needing to charge it before I put it in the truck, I'll have to borrow one from someone else or wait another 2 weeks and get one for myself. The Knukonceptz 8 gauge should also be here Thursday or Friday. I have a battery charger out in the garage, I'm just too lazy to see if it says anything about being usable with AGM batteries. My 8 gauge should be here Wednesday or Thursday, the battery will be here on Thursday, and the Fi will get here on Friday! I may not be able to drop the battery in right away though. Reasons being that I need to charge it, and I don't have an agm charger, and I also ordered the battery posts from a different company and they might not get in til Monday. I'm fine with it though. REVOofRustler Posted October 4, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 4, 2012 Alright, well I got my KnuKonceptz 8 gauge OFC yesterday, but I had to leave for work right after I got the wiring. So today once I got home from school, I figured I'd wire it up while I waited for Fedex to bring my D2700. The wiring Size comparison to the Best Buy stuff I was using Got all the cuts made and crimped on the ring terminals Leftovers. I still have to put the new wiring inside my box, but that probably won't happen til Saturday. I'm getting the Fi tomorrow, but school and work are taking up my whole day tomorrow. Installed I like having matching colors... By the time I was done with the wiring, Fedex still hadn't showed up. So I went to my computer and as soon I got all the pictures put on my computer, he showed up! Heaviest package I've gotten... ever... It came with some sweet stickers There she is! Sitting at 12.58 volts. Like I said earlier, this won't be going in until I can put a proper charge on it, which probably won't happen for another week or two. Thank you! My goal for this build was to really try to be patient and not skimp out anything, even if it meant waiting a few weeks or so, and I'm really happy with how it's turning out! that 8ga speaker wire is some beefy stuff! looks good!! looking forward to the fi unboxing!!
