I had always been looking at the Fluke meters. I didn't know harbor freight even had a clamp meter but I may also pick one up sometime of its pretty accurate. You are right though you can't beat the price. Good find man

Haven't gotten a whole lot done today but I did get the old screws out and replaced them with some stainless hardware. Can't really tell any visual difference but the sub doesn't move at all while playing.

Of course they go screwed in all the way but I couldnt really get a pic of them all screwed down cause the little rubber ring around the sub is covering them all up.

So how does the back side go on on these things? i want to get some for mine do they work really good.

yeah, I been searching for awhile to see whom had one at the best price. Although, I'd like to have a Fluke or Greenlee, I think I can risk $14 to see if this one is accurate.

True that. I'm also interested to see what your hifonics does on a clamp test. I have always wondered what the BRZ line did. Yours is a BRZ2400 right?

@big: I appreciate it. I have always wondered if soundstream did rated power. I don think they are under rated haha. The video of your SA's you put on YT was awesome. Those 8's really pick up the lows

Yes, I have the BRZ2400.1D. The amps are CEA rated, so I'm expecting it to at least pull rated.

Edit: Just remember, I'm killing my system electrically, at least for now.

@mike: Once you add a 2nd batt your voltage will stabilize a tad bit I bet

@big: I appreciate the sub and yea I was checking those new bids out earlier. Seeing those SA-8's slammin makes me anxious to get mine reconed and playing

@viper: They work ok but i honestly can't tell much difference between them and screws. Only thig they won't rip out of the MDF due to the teeth in t-nuts plus the threads don't go into the wood they go into the metal. So I guess it's a plus in that way. To me they are a pain to install. Next time I will install them before I glass the top to the box. Reason I say that is I will be able to take a hammer to tap them into the wood instead of relyin on the drill to pull them up into the wood. I stripped out 2 screws trying to pull them into the baffle. Also I would suggest to use a drill that plugs into the wall instead of a cordless drill since the corded drill has more torque. I will either stick wih regular screws on my next box or either I'll attach the t-nuts while the baffle is still off. I hope this makes sense haha
