252chevyboyz
I really appreciate it man. My box does pretty well on the lows I think I need a box around 5.6-5.7ft^3 and tune it around 28-30hz so I can really get low. I am trying to keep from building another box until I get 2 18's then I'll finish off with 4 18's so I can keep my back seats for now. Long way down the road though. Anyway back to my box I got my LPF set ~20-22hz but the sub/box will play rack city and not miss a beat or bottom out. The box still likes 24-26hz pretty well though. I need to put it on the meter but trying to wait til I get my Pos Dual Inpuf installed then I'll meter and I'll meter again after I get my new Alt also. - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log

Way to play it smart I love the 6th order I got but it takes up a lot of room and it still an unfinished money pit lol.. next I'm doing 2 18s back behind my rear passenger seat if they will fit until I get a second car probably a cheap beater/project car that will hold more than 2 people it get annoying when people have to share seats lol. 252chevyboyz
Well yesterday the stock out started to finally die. I was going to just try and save up to order a 200a mechman but I can't do without my hoe in a landscaping business. I am going to have to get this one rebuilt today and hopefully it will be ready tomorrow morning. Once I get this one rebuilt I will start over saving for a H/O alt. Shouldn't be long at all before a recieve a Dual Alt bracket and a H/O Alt though. Dropped to 10.7 at first Then dropped to 9.7v Disconnected from batt: Mounting bolts coming off: Belt off the pulleys: Alt off engine: Alt & Charging Cable Alt itself: - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log

252chevyboyz
I appreciate it bro. It has been getting like unbearably hot for about a week and a half so I knew it was on its way out. Just glad it happened around town instead of when I was out of town. I think I should have the H/O alt in 1-1 1/2 months. I'm interested to see how it does after its rebuilt though - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log

252chevyboyz
Well I dropped the Alt this mornin at 830am and it was ready at 3:30pm. Great service from this guy and was only $51.00 after taxes and all. Great price. I had it installed by 5 this afternoon but once I got it installed I had to go for a test journey haha. Took it easy about the first 30min then slammed for about 45min-1hr after that. Full tilt playing anything from "I Cook" to "Prime Minister" the voltage never dropped below 14.0v and it charges @ 14.3v after an hour and a half to build up heat. Cold charges @ 14.8-14.9v. 252chevyboyz
Met up with a fellow bass head this afternoon who just happens to also have a DD-1. Really appreciate @mikelbolton lettin me tune my system. Turns out my HU clips at 39/50 and I had my gains set a lil conservative. Anyway it's nice to know I'm finally not clipping any part of the system. Steve and Tony put out a great product with the DD-1. Not to mention how simple it is to operate. I didn't snag any pics of testin the HU bug I got pics from the amp. Clipping: And now totally clip free - 1997 Chevy Tahoe- Big 3 (1/0)- Dual Autocraft Batts- JVC KD-A315 HU- AQ 2200.1D- 18" AQ HDC3- Box w/ Removable Port (6ft^3 @ 36hz & 6.7ft^3 @ 42hz)- 39' 1/0 & 13' 2/0 Flex-A-Prene My Selling Feedback Build Log
