Miguels
Wire them to 2 Ohms, get an Rockford bdCP 1500 You'll get a little better sound quality and a lot better efficiency out of it than if you wired your subs to .5 ohms. your not getting any power out of that amp at 2 ohms. after rise you are screwed. if you wire to 1 ohm on that amp it is the only way to go. then you rise to 2 ish and you get rated. OP look at sundown DD AQ DC audio SKAR Its called Constant Power for a reason 1500watts at 2ohms no problem its called box rise. read up on it big man. i hope you realize when you wire your 2 D4 12s to 1 ohm you are probably rising to 2-4 ohms and utilizing that constant power you paid for. but when you wire to 2 ohms that BOX RISE puts you 4+ohms most likely and you will see 1k on those subs if your luckily. or you may get lucky and not have a lot of rise but you will still be over 2 ohms. learn a thing or 2 before calling someone out. sorry to burst your bubble but Fosgate has a new thing that is called technology. the bdcp line of amps will give you rating power at any ohm load and yes it even helps with box rise my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

I know BDCP models claim to do same at 1 and 2 ohms but 2 ohm rating is still less if anyone can see on a birthsheet. and the 4 ohm rating is almost half of 1 ohm rating which you approach with rise on some parts of the music. Miguels
i personally wouldnt wire an amp to .5 ohms. you want more power then buy a bigger amp. its only a few hundred bucks plus when you go .5 ohms the amp will draw more amperage as its not stable. you will need a bigger alternator and more batteries to handle the draw. so it will cost more and even more when you burn up the amp edit: never use box rise as a way to keep your amp safe my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
