o wow.. $25 is cheap! i thought those things were like $150 lol.. is it good tho? i like to buy things that i can handle some wear.. specially tools.. but for $25 doesnt seem like i can go wrong! lol

A 2 year warranty was $10 or something like that but I pass it up.

They raised the price on that model to $30..some people complained that it doesn't cut straight.. maybe its a hit or miss? idk.. i just checked out home depot's online website and i can get a black & decker one for the same price.. i've used black & decker before and they seem like solid tools so maybe i'll go with that.. thanks alot for the help tho

Yeah the amount of time and energy you save with a router and jasper jig is well worth the money it costs to buy them. Plus you can use them for all your speakers holes even tiny ones.

I got my black and decker for ~$35 I believe...it makes decent cuts for a $35 jigsaw. I haven't had any problems with it so far

you can find used routers all the time also for a couple dollars. The jig is the most expesive item and they run about 50 bucks.

That's quite alright.. i never heard of a Jasper Circle Jig.. seems like it would make the job a whole lot easier.. i just asked my dad and he has a router somewhere in the attic.. so maybe ill just buy that jasper jig and use it. Thanks!

i've always liked black and decker tools.. they're decent quality stuff.. i guess it boils down to which tool i would use more often after making these cut outs lol

I did some hobo style cutouts on mine with a jigsaw: took a string, measured it out to the cutout of my subs, tied it around a pencil and bam. there's a circle on my board. just follow the line close as you can, if you're really picky you can just sand it a bit, no biggy
