Questions are fine to a point but let me give you some food for thought.

You go and ask a question that has been asked 40 times and can be answered with 10 seconds worth of searching. Now why should someone that has spent 20 years in the industry just hand that info over at the drop of a question when they spent a lot of their of their own time and probably money to learn how to do what it takes to answer that question? The ones on forums that have a wealth of knowledge and can be a great tool of knowledge dont usually just hand over info on a whim and its because of how much effort they had to put in them selves to learn what they know.

The newbies that want everything handed to them need to learn to figure shit out on their own to instead of having everything handed to them like they have all become so accustomed to in this day and age. The info wasnt just handed to us so why should it just be handed over to the newest generation of lazy people?

Just what I was thinking. OP look at it from the forums point of view, we see a question get asked 40 or 50 times, shows up on nearly every page of the relevant section and yet gets asked again. It just shows lazyness on the askers part. It's no "group thinking" as you call it. It's not very often that a poster gets told to go to the search bar and if they are told it's because the question is easily answered if they just put a tiny bit of effort in. If you were around for awhile you would notice this too. Oh and it would be helpful if you didn't make it sound like all this is is a knowledge bank, as there is literally thousands of threads with members just throwing around ideas and running through thought processes with other people.

Put in work like every other person worth his salt. People that have been here a while and people that know what they are talking about usually get respect because they gave it first.

i didnt really have a question, I just wanted someone to about my build to and get some input, becasue me people in my local area have never heard of heard of many of the products I plan on using, I know to go cone area from searching here.

It should never matter how many times a questions has been asked, NO ONE EVER HAS TO REPLY TO IT NO person can force you to answer. And the reason someone with 20 years practice should answer the question is simply to keep the hobby going, and from a business point it sales products. If you guy watch the guy who this forum is named after youll see hes. Im going to buy a dd-1 and cc-1 because I like the way he answers questions, ill never use them again after my build, and ive been improperly setting gains for years and had minimal equipment fail. If you search the old cc1 dd1 post youll see steve answers all the questions in of telling ppl SEARCH the manual. Some newbies do want everything handed to them, some dont like my self I would love to enter a "loud person" circle as a apprentice to watch and learn but thatll never happen because im no one close friends. And for the newbies who want shit handed to them CHARGE them for anything other than basic knowledge it you care so much about your seniority.

QUESTION: WOULD YOU EVER TAKE A DEMO VEHICLE TO SHOW AND STOP DOING DEMOS BECAUSE TO MANY PEOPLE WANT DEMOS AND TELL THEM TO SEARCH YOU OUT ON YOUTUBE.... IT THE SAME CONCEPT

questions that are against the rules are flamed such as vs threads. everyone wants the secret to being loud. there isnt a secret. it is available here on the forum somewhere. if you have trouble searching, other members will search for you and post link. it happens everyday. almost all questions are answered in a respectful mannor. only people who cant read get flamed. that is funny. ahha i laugh at my own joke. they cant read rules and cant read the search so they get flamed. ahah

Why not simply answer the question though, and say if you want to confirm what I said search this link?, Yes questions are answered respectfully years ago and in 10+ page long threads for good info.

In an answer for your question. If your using 3500 watts I would go with more cone area.

I have been following this forum for 4 or 5+ years, I joined finally so I can buy a used SAZ3500 otherwise I never would have joined and would have kept using the search button. If me generalizing all forums there days is passing judgement so be it, im pretty sure its true about most forums that have old timers

its not a knowledge bank yet, there is still questions being answered by some, and then theres the a-holes posts to saying things like

-this has been asked a millions times

- here were go again

- a quick search would answer this for you

- so on and so on

A day of me playing my soon be had sundown 3500 will get atleast 10 new people brought to the brand who are currently using sh!t brands, which equals more business for them and some day better prodcuts than they offer now, on the other hand it a 'loud person' shows another 'loud persn' and sundown hes like oh cool, but ill stick with what i have. trying search steves posts on the O scope vs his dd1. again he does a great job answering the same question 'does it work' multiple times even making multiple vidoes saying it does.

I've asked questions on here that have likely been answered 100+ times and got nothing but polite, constructive answers. Just don't sound like a douche and at least try to use some proper grammar and it's all good.

You are missing the point bro. It's immaterial how many times the question has been asked. The reason people get pissed off is due to the lack of initiative on the OP part. Why should we give information out if you are unwilling to search it out on your own. I'm talking about some of the simplest concepts too. When I was new I read all the stickies, did some research, and only when I hit a wall did I ask for help. This is the mindset newcomers need to have.

People always have this sense of immediacy when it comes to their builds too. "well I just want it in my car and playing;" or "I don't want to take the time to learn how it works" ; and that my friend will chapp alot of asses. Mine included. We have a serious passion for this hobby and some of us spend months researching before we buy a single piece of equipment. Can you begin to see why there would be a little resentment to the whole "spoon fed approach?"
