Cappy
Hi guys got a question for anyone who can help. My question is, will I have any troubles using "both" of my below amps to push an L7 each? The person who sold me the L7's and ZX1000.1 had both L7's running off just the ZX amp and I want to use my current Pioneer Premier amp in addition to the ZX so that it's one amp per sub to get the most SPL out of the combination. I've seen on ROE that some guys were using the ZX1000.1 to run one L7 12" but I wanted to check with the experts (you guys... lol) before I start the install. Do you guys think that the two L7's can handle this config and if so, are there any other concerns I should look out for when I start setting everything up? My new setup is going to involve: - ported box with 2 12" Kicker L7's - Kicker ZX1000.1 (1000 Watts RMS x 1, at 2 ohms) - Pioneer Premier PRS-D3000SPL (1000 Watts RMS x 1, at 2 ohms) - Tsunami Competition battery - Batcap 400 Thanks guys. finkster
u will need to obtain 500 watts of power from each amp to each sub...i dunno if thats possible though onlky my little theory lol DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living
Cappy
Any additional feedback guys? I know that the subs are rated at 750 rms (in a sealed box) and 600 rms (in a ported box) so I guess as long as my amps are gained down a bit so that each sub is getting the 600w I should be ok. Also, any ideas on what kind of db #'s I can "roughly" expect to reach with this setup in my Civic's trunk with the seats down? Thanks. u will need to obtain 500 watts of power from each amp to each sub...i dunno if thats possible though onlky my little theory lol
AI James
i wouldnt run 2 different amps like that maybe 2 of the same amp but not a pioneer and a kicker, its real hard to get them to sound the same if so.

Cappy
lol... Consider it done guys. I'm gonna take your advice and leave the Premier amp out of the equation. Appreciate the quick feedback. Cheers, Cappy one word: Ghetto dont do it, sell one of them and match the other with the money.

Cappy
Good to know that the L7's can take a beating cause I'm going to be grabbing another ZX1000.1 once I sell my Premier PRS-D3000SPL. I'll hit you guys up with some more questions once I get to that stage cause I might need a little help with the wiring plan. I've got a Batcap 400 and will have to figure out a way to have the two amps share it. I had my Stinger cap wired before to my Premier amp and one 12" L5 so hopefully its along the same lines with 2 amps. Thanks again for the pointers guys, Cappy
