CJ18
For those of you that have followed my builds in the past, you know what is in store for my truck over the next few months. For those that have not, sit back and enjoy. I will be posting a TON of detailed pictures of every step from the start to finish. I am planning on being home on Monday and to hopefully start the tear down on Tuesday. This will be a slow build, I am making sure that every single detail is just the way that I want, with nothing left to be desired. I will also be having surgery in a few weeks, so that will slow me down for a few weeks. For anyone who would like to see how the truck sits now, here is a link to my UBL for last years build.http://www.stevemead...-6-15s-10k-ubl/Now for the equipment list.Subs- 4 DC m2 Level 5 15s. CJ18
Here is one piece of the jig saw puzzle. Thanks to snafu for taking something that started as an idea and turning it into reality. This will have a few functions. 1) Master turn on for all amps. Will be controlled by 2 switches in the console. 2) Will control 2 Vu Din meters to only be turned on when corresponding amps are turned on. 3) This is the MAIN FUNCTION! This relay board will allow be to control channels 3/4 on all 3 4 channel amps. With this relay board I will be able to switch the back 2 channels on all 3 amps off while I am driving. Why would I do this you ask. The back 2 channel on the 4 channels will be powering speakers that will be in the rear doors, on the side of the wall, and in the bed of the truck. There is no need for these to be on while I am driving. The relay board gives me the control to shut them off until I am stopped and parked and want to demo everything. BIG THANKS goes out to Tony C for making this happen!
