memphis_finest1 Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Went to the stereo shop today , went to the paint shop yesterday , Stereo shop said that they would paint and shave every thing with a 2 stage paint job for 7k paint shop said theyd do it for 4k ,Now what im thinking im just going to get another stock paint job for like 1000 and take the rest of the money to bag the truck etc etc etc what do you guys think? FCsteve Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 personally. id do the 1 g paint job and put the rest towards other stuff. there are so many cars that have crazy chamelion paint and are so shitty its not even funny. id rather see a car that has a just a super simple paint job that looks good over a crazy one. there is so much better stuff to spend money on then the color of your exterior. sully Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 make sure you use Slam Specialties bags and good 1/2" valves (i like parkers) and a reputable shop can do it for $3500. I spent $5400 on mine but got a Dakota Digital ride height controler and extra compressors plus had to buy drop spindles to lay out on 24"s.
