You still didn't list the port length, but it doesn't matter. Your box is way too small.

It's only 6.9 GROSS and john253a is telling you 7.75 NET.

Edit: Ninja'd like a MF

also i have 90 square inches of port area. they are getting 800 a piece i simply just want louder. the box is well build. my electrical system is good to support the amp. I"ve just gotten use to the sundowns. I've had them for almost a year and want something louder

getting subs with higher rms like you want is like going from a POS car driving 60mph and a ferrari driving 60 mph. bigger amp. better amp. im sure you would notice a difference going from your 1600rms hifonics to a sundown saz 1500. yet the saz is till only 1500rms. hmmm.. . . . .anyways. get a good quality amp. mabye some bigger rms subs like the lvl 3s. and a really good box.

There's no need for new subs,

What he has is good,

He just needs is the right box, with the meserments he has hell get a hell of a lot louder and a nicer sound then what he has now,

Just some more info is required to lock in some designs,

And the amp he has will do 1600 @1 ohm

So I've been told but I've also been told its at 16v

So I can't speek for the amp as I've never tested or ran 1

But I know with his 6-800 hell be able to sell off his amp and get a good quality 2k stable amp,

A elec upgrade to substain that power, and shit hot box that will run thoses sa15 the way there ment to be

I was told by the guy at sundown not to go over 7. I emailed him. I post my max dimensions earlier. I can go a bit deeper and a bit higher but no wider. I have an yellow top in the front and have an xs power d925 coming for the back. My volts stay up. I can get a sundown 1200 pretty cheap but i'll shop around for a 1500. Give me some good box dimensions and i'll have it built

and according to their website it says do 3-4 cubes per sub. I met in the middle and went a hair under 7. What size box would you guys reccomend

Reccomendations are the NET volume. Your box is a little over 4 cu ft NET.

The net volume takes into consideration the volume of the wood, port, woofers, etc.

Your 6.9 cu ft is the GROSS volume. That is the total outside of the box.

You've been told your box Is far too small. You also seem to think we can decipher your very cryptic information. People don't use terms like "port out" that could literally mean a few things. Port BACK would be the appropriate way of describing.

You do know the difference between net and gross right? GROSS is your outside dimensions without taking into account the 3/4" for wood(and 1" on the bottom) and port(which slot ports eat up volume fast) and woofers(those subs are .17 cubic feet of displacement each).

On a side note, you are HERE asking for help. So don't get offended when you actually receive help. You asked how you can get louder. You can go but some big badass subs, but on the same power and the same box, you won't notice any difference. The only way to get a better sound or louder as you request is by getting a box built appropriately. Those subs can do the job if you have the right box. Buying new subs without understanding that the enclosure they are inside of is the MOST important thing, is useless.

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
