Before I say yes or no to this, I am wondering what is typically involved and how long I can expect it to take? beatinpearls Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 A lot of the newer cars are alot easier to deal with. Instead of a shitload of wires entering into their respective fuses, they just have a very large plug or 2 that connect into the box and some large copper "traces" distribute the power within. More info on the make and model would help in research.

To do so requires replacing a major portion (or even the entire) wiring harness in the vehicle. LOTS and LOTS of patience. Does he want it replaced or fixed? You said the "fuse box"...Is this the main fuse box? beatinpearls Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 Its been quite a while since ive looked at a 3rd gen but yeah, not just plug and play with that one. That fuse box is gonna have quite a large harness attached. And if its the under dash one, prob gonna have to pull the dash.
