alaskanzx5 Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 run the second alt straight to the battery bank and nothing else. dont even run a wire from front battery to battery bank. then you will have the 150 amp alt only powering the stereo and you could get an adjustable voltage regulator. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
Skullz Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 If you get a 1 wire H/O second alt it wont matter where you run it to, the main point is to have something capable of 100% duty cycle to help take some of the strain off the stock one. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
C-Fizzy Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Sorry man. You gotta pay to play. If you really wanted to, I'm sure you could fit 2 H/O alts on that thing. You just need to fab up a bracket. And you either need 1 of 2 things. 1) a lot of money. Or 2) to know someone with good machining experience that will hook you up. under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy?
