Vooloco Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 new SSD's are 1000w. where did you get this custom box from? did you build it yourself? pics would be nice if you could post some. I didn't build it, I bought it from someone in town that did though, I think he said it was tuned to 33htz. He had two sundown 12s in it. I don't have any pics really. Also for the power thing, I don't know if I would need 2200 watts in a regular cab chevy anyways and it would cost an extra $220, which I don't know if I would want to spend.
Vooloco Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 If I would get the 2200 watt amp which is a crescendo bc2000d, what options would I put on the SSDs?
captainhook426 Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Mine just had cooling I believe, for some extra power handling you could go with the BP option... I think everyone is waiting for picks of you box though before they try to give you real input. The box is the most important part of which amp to use at the moment. Next time she tries to punch you in the stomach, whip your wiener out and chase her around. Show her who's boss.

Vooloco Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 This is what he said for the add, "The box is for 2 12 inch subwoofers and has a total net box volume of about 3.5 cubic feet, or 1.75 cubic feet per sub. The box has two 4" aero ports and is tuned at 33 Hz. The box was custom built for my chevy single cab pickup and it had 2 Sundown SA 12 subs in it. "
HarrisonGrayLetchworth Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 My SSD's are on 2200 and the only time they get warm is if I clip my amp. Pretty sure they have every option. I'm sure I could push 3k to them without too much worry. 2011 Mazda 3 Sport -QL-MZD723 Touchscreen -AQ2200 -(2) Fi SSD 12's -4.3 cf box sealed to cabin -1/0 knu power wire -XS D3100 and 102 AH C&D -Big 3

Vooloco Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 So with no addons they will take 2200 with no problems?
