The box looks like its built very well, however, it seems lacking on port area. 2 4" aeros for the amount of airspace is on the low side for sure. I too, have a regular cab GMC(2003 though) and the biggest box I've done behind the seat was 2 cubes net after port and sub displacements. That box looks really great, the only thing I would change is the amount of port it has(build another box similar with proper amount of port). You have any pics of the truck? We are pic whores around here if you couldn't tell. Good luck with the build, I love seeing the regular cab builds :)

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I ordered the crescendo BC2000D amp and 2 FI SS12s with no options. When I did the websites were almost exactly the same and so were the e-mails. Does fi own crescendo or the other way around or what? Also I probably won't be running 2200 watts a lot, so I didn't get any options.

I have never set up a system that has this much power before, so I'm not really sure of what wires I need to upgrade or what wires to get. I have heard of the big three upgrade, but I'm not sure how to do it. Also how will I know if my subs are getting hot because of to much power?

if the woofers start to get hot, you'll smell them. put your hand on the cone after beating on them for a while, to see how hot it is. luke warm is okay. if you cant keep your hand on the dust cap for more than a couple seconds, dont play them as hard.

that box needs a little more port area.

you need 0 gauge, and luckly, knukonceptz is having a closeout sale on one of their 0 gauge kits. http://www.knukoncep...prodID=IXOS-PK0

it doesnt come with rca's, so you'll need to find those yourself.

how to do the big 3, is in this thread. http://www.stevemead...big-3-tutorial/

i have a question though. which motor do you have in your chevy? i ask this because i'd like to know the amperage of your alternator.

i'd also suggest you upgrade your underhood battery to an agm style. if you're not looking to spend $300 on a battery, duralast sells these as their platinum series. you should be able to pick one up at autozone or wherever.
