I finally got these pods in and running.all I can say is boy what a difference The mid bass is incredible due to the sealed box.Its wonderful to actually hear the music shift from side to side. Next is the back pair wont be anything special just a simple flat built in box where there is already a cheapo stock 6x9.So without further jibba jabba .

these should hold them up fine

figured out the crossover mount, where the junk 6x9 was

and the new head unit

and its a wrap now to do the back. and then on to the real system that's going in the escort zx2.

The rear speakers in this dang conversion van were neatly hidden in the back behind the rear seat belts and blocked by the second row seat backs, so I moved them to higher ground.

  • 3 weeks later...

I put together a little sub box for the famvan,Its half of the sub section from my mustang.A Alpine m500 and a phoenix gold RSDC 124 .Its nothing special just a sealed birch 1.5 for under the rear bench.adds a damn nice punch.
