boom50cal Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 damnit, I need new front rotors and calipers right now, and rotors for my truck aren't cheap Don't kill the motor, the 4.6 in my dad's F-150 has low compression in a cylinder, valves/head/cam is good...we think the rings on the piston are bad and caused a scoring in the cylinder wall...which means boring/sleeving that cylinder or an entire new motor... Fucking expensive ass new shit. Iirc, ford dealers run a yearly maintenance promotion in January/first quarter of the year, so brakes will most likely have a rebate or discount of some sort on them.
