LT.Smoke
I have been out of the R/C game for a LONG time... I am looking to get back into it because i miss having fun with fast ass RC cars... I am currently looking at the Traxxas T-maxx3.3 I need a truck because i dont have pavement out here in my neighborhood its all gravel so i need the rigidity of a truck plus i can run it in the grass... Can anyone suggest some other makers out there of FAST nitro trucks or put together a list of things i would need to try and get back into it in the near future.... ToNasty
Traxxas and team.associated. take a look at electrics. I was out of the game.for.years and just bought a traxxas slash electric. And fuck that thing is fast ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Raptorman
Yeah man go electric. 75% of your time spent with nitro is spent tuning/fixing the motor or starting the damn thing. Electric has really come a long way in the last couple years. Edit: My good friend has an electric T-Maxx with all the aftermarket batteries and motor, and the thing literally does complete backflips if you slam the throttle. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. ToNasty
The new electrics have lipo and brushless. Last twice as long as nitro and there faster now. Shit traxxas has a new.car out that does.100 outt of the box ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
sprkn_ranger
I you are just wanting to fuck around with it then I would suggest an electric. The nitro is such a pain in the ass to keep maintained. I remember when I had my traxxas t-Maxx I spent more time trying to keep it running than I did driving it. The new brushless motors are super strong nowadays and can still get almost as fast as the nitro cars. Born_Again
If I was going to get into the RC game right now, I might be looking at used gas powered RC cars. Being able to run regular gasoline is pretty sweet IMO.

sprkn_ranger
Well hell the electric will haul as much ass as the Nitro.. Do they sound as good tho?? That's the only reason I would get nitro again, is cause they sound cool. But after about 20 minutes that novelty wears off and the electric is still more fun at the end of the day lol.
