Vehicle air space matter?

I have a 99 ext f150 with 2 T1 15s and it sounds nothing like it did when it was in my buddies 4runner. It doesnt get low at all... Is that because of the box and port size only or is it the vehical? Is it even possible to get the sound you get in like a suv in such a smaller space? Ive never had subs that went so low and pounded so great then putting them in my truck and it sounding like complete poop.

Space absolutely matters. You could take the same subs you had in one car and put it in another and it might sound completely different, even in the same box.

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..

You answered your own question.

The exact same equipment will sound differently in a different vehicle.

Hell sometimes it sounds differently in the same exact vehicle.

If I do get a suv I want a midsize one. I dont care for the look of most bigger suvs. Im just looking for a vehicle that can get low to what I used to hear in my buddies 4runner. If I could do that in a truck id be happiest but Idk if trucks even have that possibility. Well ive never heard anyones system in a truck like that anyways.

Maybe my truck is just a bit to old and beat up for what I want coming out of it.

Your truck has a lot to do with it...a lot of people put the same system they had in a new car and some got louder some wasnt. I was gonna say its your box but you said it got low and that before. Also you had a hatchback witch get louder then trunks, I never heard a system in a truck so I have no idea how they sound. What kind of box and what's it tuned it?

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong

Sorry I forgot to mention the box I have in now is a bit smaller. The port is like half the size of the port on the old box they were in. And the box is also a bit smaller. Would building a new box that properly fit them and with the right port honestly make that big of a difference. My port right now is 4in wide and about 16in long. I didnt wanna build a new box for my truck and then it still change the sound like what I want it to sound like. Just not really sure on what to do
