My 87 honda resonates in the hatch like stupid. Between the inner fender and outer fender is hollow of course but I really don't see any practical way to use deadener in there due to access limitations. I'm curious if could use great foam (expanding foam) and fill those suckers up? From my experience, that stuff takes a minute to expand and if I plan it right and maybe pre-drill some holes for a piece of plywood and have it all ready to go I could fill it and cover it so it packs in tight. (maybe even cover it first with a small hole in the plywood and then fill) My only concern is if it will actually help me any. The spots I want to fill don't have any wires or anything. I used it in the rear quarter panels of my old car and it stopped a good about of flex i was very happy. I would clamp or screw your piece of plywood down then drill the hole then fill. I think i will cover up as much as i can first and even if i have to drill into the inner sheet metal so i can spray as high i can so i gets full. Now to just figure up how much i need. Oh, one more thing, as far as the "expand" factor, is it better to use one that doesnt expand much so i get a more dense fill? Tried acetone, gasoline, soaps, nothing would get it off. It took a few days for it to come off naturally.
