So I'm gonna continue where I left of last time,

I sanded the body filler and that sheet of mdf is ready for paint. hoping to get to it this week somewere.

next thing I did was making me same alu bars to run the amps.

I started of with drilling all the wholes in a long alu piece.

then i cutted the piece in 4 seperate pieces.

after that was done I decided to give this polishing product a try (first time polishing so hoping for the best)

And I have to say I'm happy with the results. I actually bought another polishing disc for the finish.

on the left you see what all the alu pieces used to look like.

and after alot of sanding sanding sading more sanding and polishing these are the final results.

So a lil update for now.

first of it really irritated me that when i had anything wet on the workbench i had to do trouble to get some paper of the role to clean it up.
so I made something to put wires and whatever up.

after I did that i finished polishing my last lugs and soldered them on the 4ga.

then i started putting the psu's together again with since that was just a temp setup.
first I protected the lugs then I disambled the psu and got everything soldered in.

I also started on primering a few of the pieces with my spray gun(first time using it). Did 3 layers so far with sanding in between each layer.

its almost ready for some paint.

so my last update has been some time ago, still waiting on my 1/0 shca lugs to finish the entire electric.

I added 2 more ps3 psu's to the system and soldered everything up and made it nice.

here you see all the psu's that are going to be used to power the amps

Next thing I started on was the section where I will be showing off the alu bars and all the runs, first of I made a nice piece for the front

I felt like it was missing something so I took my router and used the 45degree bit on the inside.

Next step was putting some plexiglass on behind the front piece, at the end I will attach a frosted SHCA decal onto the plexi.

I sticked the led strip onto the wood end left started glueing some mirrored plexi into the amprack,

next thing I did was drill a hole into the back piece where the the runs will come in from, it is a reeeaaaalllll tight fit with the 4 1/0ga runs in there and 8 4ga runs.
