P4killer_ Posted October 1, 2012 Report Share Posted October 1, 2012 I have the 1999 Monte 3.8 in my sig 152k miles on it My stock alt is now sometimes charging very high cold, as some of you might have seen me asking about around here.. like 16v + Anyway I read someone bought an alt from mechman, and they switched vehicles they sent it in and paid a small fee and they swapped cases for them.. So I contacted them last week iirc to see if in fact they could do this and if so line me up with a unit in the next few weeks as money is tight, but if i need a new alt id rather spend more for a h/o than just buy an oem I havent heard back yet and the site is now down.. lmao so i was looking around again DC or mechman dont have the 99 monte listed but they have say the 99 Grand prix which should be the same GM CS130 Alt. anyway Dc is the most $$$ of the three then mechman then powerbastards.. anyone use PB?
