OBI Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 So for anyone who hasn't seen any of my vids my windshield and sunroof go apeshit. I was thinking about adding a layer of MDF to my roof. But was worried about the effects it might have on my low frequency response. Does resonant frequency go up or down by doing this? and if so does it hurt certain frequencies.

That is more for people focused on SPL and trying to get the most DB's out of their vehicle. Also, I believe it would lower the Freq. However, you can counter this by making adjustments to the box.
