hershy314
I have a p7-1254 desktop. For no reason (at least I'm aware of) the display goes out. My monitor is a 24 inch Insignia TV. I am using a VGA cable from the TV to the comp. Now it doesn't matter if I'm playing a game, watching youtube or just browsing the web. The display will go out. Doesn't happen all the time, but its done it I think bout 4 times this past week. The video driver is up to date so I don't know what it could be. Hope some one does. http://athphotography.deviantart.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/hershy314
RooTxBeeR
Have you tried using any other monitors and seeing if it happens on them? Also make sure your, power options are set right it doesn't turn off the display after so long. RooTxBeeR
Also, how do you know your video drivers are up to date? If you haven't already, might want to try uninstalling, and reinstalling from the manufactuers website. Skullz
Does the monitor flicker? How old is the monitor? Possibly bad caps inside causing the problem. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
hershy314
no the monitor does not flicker, it just shows an error messege. it says no signal, even though the computer is on and still connected to the monitor. both monitor and comp are almost brand new. the comp i bought in march this year, monitor was bought in june i think. both came from best buy. http://athphotography.deviantart.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/hershy314
