ChevyBoy95 Posted October 17, 2012 Report Share Posted October 17, 2012 voltage doesn't matter when choosing power wire. you need to know the CURRENT DRAW in AMPS. no, not an amplifier. an amp. its the unit of measurement for current. unless you're running over like 300amps, then stick with 1/0. but why get 1/0 when you can get 2/0 for the same price? OP says it is a few dollars more which is probably shipping due to weight, but 20ft of the 2/0 is 69 bucks, 20ft of OFC 1/0 is 69 bucks.
