S15_Silvia Posted October 16, 2012 Report Posted October 16, 2012 Hey guys, so I have a home setup consisting of an Audioengine D1 digital to analog converter being fed optical from my laptop, going into a Logic3 Valve 80 hybrid tube/mosfet amp. I took the whole setup down to the labs in my engineering building and individually scoped the DAC and the amp with a 40Hz and then 1KHz WAV file, both -3dB. The scope showed zero clipping, even with both the amp volume and DAC volume maxed. Is this really happening?
