TRTC360
????I didn't say anything about reconing.... I would have been pretty confident putting my 750.1 at. .35 on 1 18" n2, n3, sp4, crossfire v, aa mayhem, trantric 4" coil... there's a few others out there... clean power clean to dc lvl 6, dc lvl 5 Fi rates stuff to be reliable..... when you push any sub to 2x its rms you are bound to break something eventually.... But I give mine hell daily, and they take it, hence why I got bigger amps.... my n2s ate the 3500 clamped each.... Why don't you like the ts spects of the sp4? The fs and the sensitivity? Really? If u really want the all out just go buy the smd....... but still if you mess up anything, box, subsonic, lowpass filter set to hig anything like that you do run the risk of breaking tinsile leads burning coils... the little things that suck.... The fs is too low. I know that most people will say that your fs can never be too low, but I would prefer the fs to be close to my box tuning frequency, which is 35. My vehicle tends to peak at 36-38hz, so my box is tuned to 35hz. Having a sub with a fs of 34-35 is like the planets aligning. It's the little things, right? And the SPL is way too low. I try to stay away from subs that are inefficient at low wattage. I know that SPL number doesn't mean shit when the speaker is being pounded by 6000 watts, but if all other specs are the same, I will always go with the sub with the higher efficiency rating. It may be wrong to some, but that is what I look for spec-wise. idk about the SPL rating of the sub but maybe you can contact someone from FI and see if they can build you pair of custom SP4's with a different spider pack to maybe raise the fs to your liking? LOL....but I have the means to buy the right stuff. Got dual inputs for the T2500s coming, Shok OFC just shipped, going to have 4 XS D3100s within inches of the amp rack, and electrical will be done right. Nice, tight and clean. Enclosure is the one I built reinforced with 4-12 layers of carbon fiber inside and out. Should be sturdy enough without any issues, but I'll admit that its an experimental piece. 2006 Cadillac Escalade 2/3 drop on 28" wheels Two RE SX 18" subs RF T2500-1bdCP amp, 3531watts on birthsheet Custom carbon fiber sub box EVERYTHING else is stock, for now 149.4 @ 37hz, Termlab, dash, open window on two AQ3 18s all stock electrical, wired to .25 ohm on a RF T2500 148.8 @ 36hz, Termlab, dash, open window on one AQ3 18 all stock electrical, wired to .5 ohm on a RF T2500 147.8 @ 38hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on two RE SX 18s 146.4 @ 36hz, Termlab, legal, sealed on one RE SX 18 Link to my hack-built, stupid, carbon fiber wasting project.... http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/149946-carbon-fiber-box-update-1494db-37hz-on-tl/ http://gifsoup.com/NDM3MTc1MQ

P4killer_
I know youre looking for 1 18, but to just second someone elses thought here.. 6k is stil 6 f'ing k, you gotta pay the cost to be the boss. and the only way to w/o a shadow of a doubt make it rock solid stupid proof is to run multiple woofers. There are plenty of options that would laugh at 3k each. When your running 3k per coil you gotta be ready to accept failures at some point. Honestly, though.. I cant stand ballsackhuggery but ppl are like yea i run x amount of power to my ### named sub, meh his experience is not always going to match yours. When someone has proof regardless of name *cough* steve *cough* that they run 6k to thier woofers for 3 YEARS, Id say thats about as close as safe and reliable as is possible. He makes a very strong case there.. of course its all within reason, obviously your brain and common sense come into play. you could blow any of these woofers on 6k on day 1 Setup: 2010 Hyundai Elantra Factory Unit via 4 chan NVX LOC Excessive Amperage "H/O" Alt Xs D3400/ Xs XP3000 Big 3. 2 Runs of +, 2 Runs of - DD M3b and 2 12" AQ HDC4s

Two 18s bro....I have 2 18s and looking for 2 18s. Don't know how many times I have to say it in this thread, man. yea i know, i mean to say 1 18 per 6k right.. sorry i should have explained that better. youre looking for (1) 18 that will handle 6k, in which case youre going to buy (2) of them. fixed so in terms of multiple woofers youd have to go 4 15's or w.e you get the point more coils to ahndle the ass load of powahh... but i read clearly (2) 18's it is, either way post a vid when you got it all done Setup: 2010 Hyundai Elantra Factory Unit via 4 chan NVX LOC Excessive Amperage "H/O" Alt Xs D3400/ Xs XP3000 Big 3. 2 Runs of +, 2 Runs of - DD M3b and 2 12" AQ HDC4s
