an 4 sealed is what my sub calls for its dc lvl 4 18

im just tryin to see if someone can help me here first before i go there create an account that will coast money if you wanna be able to do anything or get a free account an just look at stuff

1. Do you have room for that? 2. The account is free!

The site itself says it is free, and it has been said quite a few times already in this topic that it is free, how does that not get to you? Also, don't expect to get a help right away, people have lives outside of SMD so it can take some time to get the replies you are looking for.

You gave the topic, and members, a total of 37 minutes to give you want you wanted...

I have been reading the link provided, and I have learned a lot. According to it, the skar vvx-8 looks like a nice sub for a 4th, and since it's so small, can get a really nice big ratio lol.

who is that a box designer ?

Yea it was a box designer who rage quit the forum.

On the ratio thing.. a bigger ratio makes a peaky-er box, and a smaller ratio has a wider bandwidth or musical playability. So a small ratio will be able to play more notes but a higher ratio will be able to play less notes but louder.

That's how I interpret everything I've read about ratios in 4ths...
