How am I supposed to mount this?

I suggest you tilt it and give a little force if need be.

The mount for the terminals and terminal plate are casted into the basket lol. Youre not gonna move it unless you break it

They seem pretty well built aside from the terminals, especially given the price.

I am mounting these with 1.5" thick MDF spacers, so even if I angle them in, the terminals still won't fit

Looks like direct leads are your only option then lol

Or you can just take the terminals off and put some quick disconnects on the leads. Be easier and quicker.

actually, you could just take the nut off the back of the push terminal, and use ring terminals instead. You might even be able to put the push terminals back on after you mount it depending on how accessible the back of the speaker is after its mounted.

Just make sure you secure them so that the cone doesn't vibrate against them.
