OrionStang
Not big on exhaust at all but I here ppl say a dual exhaust to a true x pipe to dual gets u that deep growl. Might think about that too. 3"+ pipe I'd say. H-pipe gives more of a deep sound. X-pipe is more raspy, like if you've ever heard a NASCAR stock car in person. X-pipes flow a little better. Hmm thanks for telling me. I knew the xpipes flow better didn't know on the h pipes tho. Thanks. Now for the muffler does that have an impact depending on placement? Ie before or after the h/x pipes? OrionStang
Never heard mufflers before the crossover, H or X. I don't think it would be reasonable as far as fitment and performance. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

screwgreen
I would go headers into 2.5inch pipe with highflow cats (if you want cats) then X pipe and Borla xr1s with 3.5-4inch tips. screwgreen
dynomax bullets are cheaper but have a raspier sound at higher rpm (not to bad though) and Magnapacks are even a little raspier than the bullets. screwgreen
look at the bullets on youtube with a good set of speakers or headphones. I really like the bullets for the price but cant beat the xr1 sound. PSI and Sundown audio FTW!! 2001 F150 crewcab Sundown z12v.2 on a sax1200d! 1/0 welding wire!
