Wooo the glue has dried (mostly) And today I'm running my subwoofer. It sounds Far better than the cardboard and packaging tape!

and the bass is much cleaner too! I was vibrating the circuit breaker that's upstairs in a different room from my home made amplifier!

and the windows were vibrating a lil bit too!! sounds awesome!! great speaker setup!!

plus I just added a horn tweeter to increase the high frequencies a bit and it sounds so clean and clear oh and deep too! woohoo! :)

which transistor are you using?

is it just me that enjoys going into walmart turning the mids and highs off on the displays and just beat the little cheapo subs, turn the deck as loud as it will go then just walk away? its pretty entertaining. what hooked me was actually the ghettoist radio ive ever seen i took my house radio and some xplod 6x9 speakers made a make shift box out a garbage can for each then played them constantly and they would vibrate my room....then i heard real speakers....bricks flowed out my ass like the ancient rivers of babylon

Not me. I get my shit and get out to avoid dumbasses.

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..

I had two of those in a ported box off a "1200" Watt amp.

Thought it was BADASS.

Heard a REAL sub stage.

Bricks=SHAT

Amazing how you can be happy with what ever system you have personally. Then you hear another system and then not happy with it no more lol.

story of my life........ hahah

I have no honest clue what transistor i'm using but it's a pretty good sized one (it's big!) (and it has got a pretty big huge heatsink to cool it too.)

it sure ain't small :)

just one resistor and one capacitor to bias the components

super simple amplifier and very efficient for a home made amplifier.. but definitely not perfect :3 and it really pumps out a lot of sound! and clear and crisp too! (it only runs off a 5 volt 800mA power supply which I find works amazing and still perfectly clear sound)

oh and I added a couple capacitors in parallel to each other (about 8200uF's 16 volts rated all together) to my 12 volt 2 amp DC power supply in parallel to my 400 watt walmart amplifier.... now it bumps harder and louder than ever before! and I get a little bit more excursion too!!

think about what a 1 farad capacitor would do!! oh my i can't even imagine!!
