So a guy on ebay scammed me. I bought a used xbox and it came with no harddrive and in horrible condition. he filed a claim with usps. the claim was accepted and 76 dollars was mailed to him. He claims since it was a flat rate box he only gets $55 and change of the claim. I would have been content with his offer of sending me the 55 and a 20gb harddrive (i bought 4gb version) weeks later nothing. I filed a claim and got immediately turned down. he shipped xbox in a flat rate with paper wrapped around it. not 25 dollars worth of shipping like i expected. I directly called ebay customer support and they fully refunded me and i got to keep xbox. but the seller still kept the money since ebay claims to have handled it bad.

long story short Im pissed that guy gets to keep my money from the sale and the 76 dollars from the claim for a item that is worth maybe 75 in the condition its in. I have his name and phone number and location and address. does anyone have any ideas to making this guy make this right? he doesnt know ebay fully refunded me. and i hate scammers like this. pisses me off.

dunno... whats the 75 bucks worth to ya? it isnt forum related, nor is it a life n death/ child molester type thing... So Im not gonna get involved with it..... I suggest the same as N8... take his info and make some ludicrous m4m personal adds all over the place for him and cut your losses at what they are, live and learn.

Screwing with him is not doing the wrong. Or maybe it is oh well i dont know. i dont want the money I just want to make him earn what he got so who wants his number?! If everyone made 1 ad he would hear it ahah
