figured id bump this, just bought a tool box and got rid of my under seat storage tray. finally time to get my system in!

truck is a 4 door 2012 sierra. subs are (2) Sundown SA-8"V2 powered by two AQ750.1s

still looking for suggestions, but ill also post pics here and my build log

You need the wood on top so the motors will clear the top of the box. Without it the subs won't go in all the way and your f'd

So it's basically hole cut out of the top and another on too for added clearance? Did you raise your seats at all?
