can you give me the wiring diagram for how you wired in the relay to that distribution thing?

You will need a 5 pin relay.

pin 30 - constant positive (or battery positive)

pin 85 - coil ground (or battery negative/frame ground)

pin 86 - coil power (or headunits remote turn on that usually goes to an amp)

pin 87 - switched (or positive 12v power output aka this goes to all the devices you want to turn on)

pin 87a - dont use

The batteries act as a reserve for the alternator if your accessories and amps us 150 amps combined then when you run full tilt your batteries are going to be responsible to supply 45 amps to supplement the system to run at that level for how ever long you run it at.

A 5 pin is not necessarily needed you could find a cheap relay at radio shack

true, but it is easy to get hold of a 5 pin and a 5 pin harness for a few bucks. but the link you posted is a perfect one that doesnt have the extra 87a for confusion.
