corey0928
Looking to get a new laptop or computer for school and personal use. I've always been a geek for all in ones since I've never been able to afford one. But I have been looking at the HP 23-b030 Since it is in my budget. Opinions? But I would really like advice on a laptop or even a different computer for under $650. There is a nice 17.3" asus for $449 at my local sears but they didn't have a display model so I haven't been able to use it hands on. ps I need windows 8 since my one class will be using it next semester, so anything with windows 8 is preferred but not necessary
hershy314
I picked up a Samsung XE30312 today for $250, bought it strictly for school. I have a desktop for everything else. It's a nice device. It does have a few draw backs, but I wouldn't take this thing back. http://athphotography.deviantart.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/hershy314

beaker
Asus, MSI, and oddly . . . Gateway. Please stay as far away as you can from HP and Dell.
corey0928
I've never had any issues with HP, my family is actually quite loyal to them since my aunt does all their shows and we generally get a decent discount.
beaker
I have about 6000 of them at work, failure rate on laptops is about 25%.

hershy314
Acer, Gateway and Hp are brands I would recommend, I have owned all and had very few problems. What are you taking in school that you need Windows 8? http://athphotography.deviantart.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/hershy314

ChevyBoy95
Look at lenovo, you can get laptops for cheap with i5 and i7s and great ram, etc. but check video/graphic card specs since they usually lack in that aspect.
