Borris The Blade Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Trunk lid looks good. Gonna be tricky running wires though. It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.
Johan Gustavsson Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Really nice project. Which software did you use for drawing the box design modell? BMW E39 540i/6 Touring Bassrace competition car with Impact and DC Audio.
scooter99 Posted February 11, 2014 Author Report Posted February 11, 2014 good thing for them actuators... Yeah, while it's a little weighty, I'll tell you this much, both of those amps and the processor, are still lighter than the 1100's. I need to change out that actuator to the other one, and add the second one for sure. But that'll be 2 actuators rated at 150lbs each. So it should be good. The panel, definitely could use some fiberglass reinforcement on the back side. It has a little give in the middle. I may actually cut out the back side, and run the cables through the wood. It'd be cleaner to do, for now. After this weekend I'll be making a panel for it so all that would be seen is the amps and processor top. I just don't have time for it now. Trunk lid looks good. Gonna be tricky running wires though. Actually won't be that bad. I looked at it last night. I think it will work out. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build

basshead7890 Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 Thanks guys. Tonight was a decent night. Had a set back, but I think I got it fixed. Fixed the sub wires coming out of the amp that were flip flopped. Got the floor in, sub wires tech flexed and terminals on. Was going to go re load them and then noticed a gap on one side of the sub baffle. SO I grabbed some clamps and undid all the screws I could and clamped it together. It looks sealed up now, but we'll have to wait and see. Also got one other thing done, which I'll go ahead and show you now. Only cause I'm so psyched about it. Got the new symphony amps in today. 2 Crescendo Symphony 800/4's. These things are sweet. Put together they're only 1" longer than one of the c1100's. For me, in this car, it was a good move I think. I can't wait to get them fired up and hear them. For those who are wondering, yes I'm going to carbon fiber the center panels, and I have decals coming also. The flow will continue. Pressure is on now. I have a feeling Friday night is going to be an ALL NIGHTER!!! Only time will tell! Goodnight folks! Damn bro, I really like that. scooter99 Posted February 12, 2014 Author Report Posted February 12, 2014 Thanks basshead!! Ok little update guys. I have 2 ground cables to connect from frame to battery bank, and then run rcas up front and speaker wires and I'll be ready to turn it on. Nervous! Tonight I'll be close but I think I won't be completely ready to turn her on until tomorrow night. Getting closer. I have a lot of pics to show, but I just don't have time right now to get them up. I'm literally spending every moment building or doing family responsibilities. I think Friday night is going to still be an all nighter, dealing with doors and sealing it off, but for sure should be up and running tomorrow night. I'll tell you this much. I got a lot done last night, and the more I got done the more excited I got because it's turning out much better than I anticipated. My only part that's sticking out to me that I'm not wild about is the battery banks and the cables going into them. They just don't seem to flow to me. But that's not something I'm going to worry about right now. Everything else is turning out wonderfully! Y'all know what that means right............................................I HAVE A HUGE SET BACK AHEAD OF ME!! That's the way my life works! Cross fingers, rub rabbits feet, whatever the hell you have to do for luck, cause I need it right now!!! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
