Thanks guys for the compliments. I appreciate them, it keeps me motivated.

To answer some questions:

I sold the 4 wheels with the crack, he knew about it, and made a few bucks back.

The bendy things are from home depot, in the hardware section. In my Home Depot they were on an end cap, not the very end but right at the end on the side, and they're in a bunch of different sizes and lengths. The ones I got were like $6.00 and the other contour tool was $10.00. I probably could've done it without that one, but I could always use it somewhere anyway.

As far as Autorama, yes my plan is to be up and playing at the very least by Autorama. I may not be "finished" with trim panels etc, but I should be playing for sure. I still have lots of stuff to do. The biggest two challenges ahead of me are going to be the enclosure which i'm including the rear deck in, and the doors.

I'm planning more progress tonight for sure. I've got to figure out where my enclosure is going to fall and figure out if I can cut the base board there. Then I can get the pieces cut and put on to the birch and get that cut. Slow slow progress but progress and going forward is the key to it right?!

So I've got a couple little updates.

First one is this, the little secret project I was talking about before. Another piece to that.

Then there's the big update. So I sold my XL 15's I got from Jon Rabe (Skyhighcaraudio in case you live under a rock), to Leo. I regretted it the day I packed them up and dropped them off. Leo probably doesn't regret getting them, but I can understand that. So ever since I said I was going to get another set of XL's. That would be the final goal. Well, some stars aligned, and Darion (Fosgatefeind) had a pair of perfect condition xl's up for sale. They happened to have the orange carbon fiber dust caps that I wanted to go with the theme of the install. Also has reinforced triple joints, extra spider, etc. Beef!! Well like I said the stars aligned and I was able to get them from him. They arrived yesterday, and I of course left work early to get my kids, and they came after that.

So I just got to work a little while ago, and was worried all the way here about the condition of the boxes. I figured UPS drop kicked them off the truck or something like they normally do. Well let's take a look!!!!

So after picking these up, I think I'm gonna have to go with a triple baffle. These things are beefy. And the 12's basket on that XL motor makes them sooooo big!! I don't remember them looking so big on the 15's!

Very excited to get these on my DMM and check em out and then get them in the car. Still a ways off from that, but I'll be counting days! WOOT!!
