no.

im comfortable with how it sounds now, but i may try it just to see if it is louder.

next box will more then likely be for 4 - 6 level 5 18's and an adassa warlord, depending on how things go when talking with andrew.

also waiting for my first $10K from my signing bonus to hit the bank so i can drop some cash on all of this.

sell that car, subs, and keep the 10k and get yourself a bmw 5 series

old one i mean 2002

Lil piece of advice for ya man.

1. Soak up as much knowledge as you can from these guys on the site. I don't know LSN2meBoom916 personally but he knows what he's talking about and is willing to share the knowledge. I've been installing custom setups for years and this guy is on point.

2. Also i know for me perfection in my installs is key. Always remember that if you get fed up on something just don't half ass it and keep going; put it down and come back to it later. You rather build it one time and love it than have to redo it again.

I think you got alot of ambition for this trade so im just tryin to encourage you to keep learnin and buildin bro. Nice work on ther bronco too. And anytime ur in the A-Town stop by the shop bro.

Thanx for the recognition bro.

And I will always offer any help I can to the SMD members...esp. YOUNGER folks w/ drive and interest....pending they understand and accept the VALUE of EXPERIENCE....

Trust me it will be that much louder!!!

Correction "should" be louder....there are NO real definate/garauntees in this game...If he points it back but has it too far forward it could seem like less output....since there's no rear seats, it's a guessing game and you really gotta try it in all positions to find what that box/woofer/vehicle combo "likes"....the '89 Bronco II I did was sealed box, pointed rearward behind the rear seats with about 10-12" between woofers and tailgate.....and NO ONE believed it was 2-JL 12w3V1's off 500rms...

Aim the box BACK and start off w/ it as far forward as poss....run it on a variety of frequencies....then move it back a lil bit at a time (maybe 2-3" at a time) and run the same tracks/volume/etc and you will find "the loudest" position.

You can do the same testing w/ the box pointing UP but I bet you will find that it will be LOUDEST and most MUSICAL w/ the box about 10-12" from the tail gate, faceing rearward.

i use to have my 2 12s sitting right behind my 2nd row seat facing to the rear. since i have moved them behind my 3rd row seat and have the subs and ports facing up and noticed a big difference ........ she's much louder.

Hate to bump an old thread...

Dustin, the wire in that Scoshe kit, I've got a Audiopipe "1500" wrms amp, has a 100a fuse, would that Scoshe wiring kit be able to sustain 100a without frying?

How much is it?

Any idea on the model number, so I can ask my mom to get it for me while I'm at work.
