RickyFriery97 Posted March 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 worked on it some more today, got the rest of the interior out, ran a 4 gauge power (adding 1/0 later) and got some RCAs and remote ran wile the interior is out. here's a few pictures rest of the interior out, got it all cleaned up and running a 4 channel and 2 channel RCA and a remote lead didn't have any grommets, found this brake line grommet at advanced and fit 4 gauge perfect trimming the new carpet to fit, you can see how nasty the old one was lol still needs some trimming, cant wait to get it all done! The 4L60 has an external solenoid on it that are notorious for going bad with age. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. The 4L60 has an external solenoid on it that are notorious for going bad with age.Pretty sure it's the 4L60E Are you talking about the front diff actuator? boom50cal Posted March 19, 2013 Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 60E's shifter solenoids go quick too. Mine went at like 45k miles on the new tranny. Easy to replace though, real easy on a truck this high lol. Drain tranny fluid, dop the pain and both are at the back of the tranny. I went ahead and replaced my filter and whatnot when I did it too.
