crescendo bc5500 somethings wrong

I finally got it hooked up wires are good right fuses and shuts off and on when starting to hit hard wired at 0.5 ohm got a 350amp alt 5 d31s could it be defective or ?

Protect mode? Or stops playing?

Check your voltage at the amp with a DMM at the amp. It should be .5 stable

You get the warranty?

does that amp handle 0.5 ohm?

you may have a short in a speaker wire..i had some install bay speaker wire before, had it for 2 days, amp would shut off and come back on, go into protect.

so switched out the speaker wires and fixed the prob. look into that

doesnt sound like its protecting since it comes in and out. has to be an rca or wire.

Gronds are loose will check speaker wires later and didnt get the warranty but .5 stable it says voltage is 13.8

Where's it grounded?

Before I.fixed my grounds I was dropping to 10v, wired to. 5 they'll handle it

grounds are loose? thats prolly your problem be careful i had a loose ground and smoke started pouring out the trunk i ran up with my fire extinguisher but the wire was already pretty much melted away.
