Mine was 4x4... until the front shockwaves were installed to clear the oil pan. Still got the gearbox and control for it though so I can change it....

There is actually a bunch of different ways to bag a 4x4. I just might do my tahoe in the future.. But here are some of the pics i have seen.

This one is a hummer where they kept the 4x4.

Here is a AWD yukon bagged on 28s and the awd still works.

Here is a escalade with 4x4 still working.

So as you can see, it is possible to bag a 4x4. There is going to be some custom fabing going on but it can be done. I just wanted to share this because for the last year or two i have been reading and searching for info about doing this so i know what im getting into when i decide to do mine.

I don't see what's wrong with bagging a 4x4

It's very possible to want and have a lowered truck that won't get stuck in the snow. And when the snow is soft and wet, it doesn't matter if it's 2" or 2' you're going to have a hard time. Why not have the dependability of a 4x4 with the height and comfort of a bagged suspension?

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

I agree with you 100%, but the comfort, I would only bag my suburban for looks only.
