RAzer elektras (i think thats the name of em) cheap and better than dre beats.

Close. The K is actually a C

I might actually get one myself (the black one, I don't like the black/green one). The wire is messed up on my Razer Carcharias, so I have no sound out of the left speaker unless I hold the main cord a certain way.

Crap, I'll have to order it. Best Buy, Walmart, Hastings, and Gamestop don't carry it locally.

well this all depends, are you the type of person that just wants headphones that put out a bit of bass? or are you wanting a flat response with open back type thing?

Look into the ATH m50

Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at.

I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k.

AKG K 240 Studio, or 240 MKII

AKG K 271 MKII

Those three are all VERY solid options. I have used all three pairs in a studio setting, and they are all amazing. Great dynamic range, incredibly clear, and bass response is also superb.

Or even some Sennheiser HD280 Pro's, ... like me. Or some Shure in-ear's, ... like me.

... I have too much "stuff", ... although it IS good "stuff".

Razer makes terrible products. All I recommend is read reviews on what you're about to buy. Read the product reviews off several sites, and even forums.

Anyway. The Sennheiser HD380's are good. You can get those for under $200.

You can go to guitar center and test whatever ones you want. They have some on a shelf for people wanting to test them. I don't think they have everything, just a lot of the popular headphones people come in and buy.
