subs don't hit lows

bass boost: 0-6 set at 2

loudness: off, low, medium, high set at high because it makes door speakers and subs sound way louder and cleaner

Isn't it better to tune with loudness and bassboost off?

From what I understand yes. Tuning with those on could present a "dirty/clipped" signal . I think you tune with them off that way you start with a clean signal

Car: 2000 Ford Focus 4 door

HU: Kenwood KDC-X395

Front Highs: stock

Back Mids: Stock

Subs: Skar VVX-12 ( 1.79 f3 tuned to 32 hz)

Amp:Audiopipe APSM 1500 mini

Wiring: KnuKoncepts Kolossus 4awg

the audison amp i had would not smash lows if i had low rca input . so i got a line driver and turned the gain down all the way and Bamm!!! it killed the lows!!
