subs don't hit lows

bass boost: 0-6 set at 2

loudness: off, low, medium, high set at high because it makes door speakers and subs sound way louder and cleaner

Isn't it better to tune with loudness and bassboost off?

From what I understand yes. Tuning with those on could present a "dirty/clipped" signal . I think you tune with them off that way you start with a clean signal

the audison amp i had would not smash lows if i had low rca input . so i got a line driver and turned the gain down all the way and Bamm!!! it killed the lows!!

Yea, I think so. Generally people just say to stay away from those things, but it makes my door speakers sound so much better so I let the SLA and Loudness slide. But don't really use bass boost.
