x91evo Posted March 30, 2013 Report Share Posted March 30, 2013 old thread but just thought I would mention AWD and 4X4 are not the same at all lolAWD uses a transaxle, and 4x4 uses a transfercase.If your car is AWD you cannot bolt a transfercase to it without heavy modification. 95legwagon Posted March 30, 2013 Report Share Posted March 30, 2013 also...the solenoids are easy to get to..... pull off the trans oil pan and they are right there..... not sure which trans you have but the 5r55e has solenoid issues. they make revised parts for it including a better solenoid pack and a better bracket for holding them in because the original one would warp and crack.... also adjusting the bands per oe specs is a must also..... i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
