Skullz Posted December 15, 2012 Report Share Posted December 15, 2012 I don't think that is a good route to go as you won't be getting any kind of warranty with it and in the event something were to happen at least with a new sub your covered and not out any money. I'm inclined to think that whomever was doing it stopped from either lack of parts or was outright told to stop and not sell them. You will have to step up to the Z line to get into the 18's and they're quite a bit more than anything else you might have been thinking on spending. Guest Posted December 15, 2012 Report Share Posted December 15, 2012 there is a reason why companies dont make 18" low powered woofers. one, partly, is because there is no market for it. two, why would you want a big low powered woofer? you can get an 18" hdc3 for like not even $100 more than an sa-12.
