Official "What did you do to your ride today" thread

Recommended Posts

Finally got my heater core finished and the truck all back together...while I was at it, I replaced my thermostat and flushed the cooling system. The whole thing took me like 10 or so hours. If I had to do it again I could probably do it in 4-5 hours now that I know everything to it.

All cleaned up ready for reassembly:

HVAC box with old heater core in it:

Here's the son of a bitch that caused all this work :glare:

And about 5 minutes later, the new core is in and the box is all cleaned up ready to go back in:

Boy am I glad that's all over lol.

Put my car audio 12s back in my trunk, I had home audio 12s as winter time "beater bass" in my trunk for fear of running my good subs in too cold of weather & damaging them. Glad to have quality bass in my trunk again :)

Filled up on gas. $64 to fill it, didn't even care to look at the price but its been around $1.40-$1.45L. Decided to grab a car wash while I was there only to find out my weather stripping around the door has decided to start leaking. So I'll be fixing/replacing that soon. Have a set of Hid's on the way as of today as well.
