K-Swift
Can someone make me a design for 2 12" Alpine Type R subwoofers. I need it to be 4 cubes, and want to have it tuned to 33hz. My trunk dimensions are 40 W, 21.5 H and 23 D. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated too. Joe X
Here is a suggestion: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 33 Hz Vb = 4 ft^3 External Height = 16 in External Width = 37 in External Depth = 19.5 in Port Width = 3 3/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2x Front = 16 5/8 x 14 1/2 Back = 37 x 14 1/2 Left & Right Sides: 18 x 14 1/2 Top & Bottom = 37 x 19 1/2 Shared Port Internal Assembly Parts: 2 x Front to Back = 16 1/8 x 14 1/2 2 x Extension = 4 9/16 x 14 1/2 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): - The 45s if you want to do them are 2 1/2" wide except the ones inside the port, if you want to do those let me know. - All trunk boxes built outside the car need to fit in their way in not just have the right dimensions. - The port needs 3 3/4" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation. - Setting your amp's subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested.
