kinda like the mayhem only $100 more than the Q

no need 2 vs, but i like ascendant and cry i cant buy new smd woofers

Skar ZVX 12s 1500rms, can take 2500rms, but I wouldn't push it too much further than that. Offered in D1 and D2.. Yeah they're retailing for $5-- but you gotta know peope. Or Bstock em, saw them going for $260 after a fresh recone.

if i get 2 fi Q 12" and plan on wiring (1) dc 1.2k on ea

should i get d2 so i can wire them to 1ohm?

i dont remeber exactly, but i think i do not want the p chamfer, high qts option, or i heat ring

for daily music use?

should i sell my dc amps because they will be underpowering?

it looks like (2) fi Q 12" is no good 4 me

with my enclosure size limits, the best tune i can get from the port is 47hz

leaning heavy towards dc now

3 fiq10 fit and work if your happ with a 37hz tune

2x 5" aero port, 15" long

its a tight fit (very tight) but does work)

and you feed them a good clean 5k

or as close as your elect system will allow

edit:

if your not going to feed it more then 3-3.5k idd stick with the 2x fiq12

and with 2x12" you can get the tune down to 28hz if you want,

looks like its down to 2 choices:

fi Q

no vs, but if dc has quicker build times then i would prob go with them

i think itd be easier 2 get a recone from dc than from fi too

i really like fi Q with 28mm xmax and

after a couple dozen pm's to joex (sorry dude)

ive learned that i can build a box a little small for the Q's

and be ok because im slightly underpowering them with a dc1.2k on each sub

i also have a hifonics collossus but i really want 2 stick with dc amps

i was thinking if i need more power i can sell the dc's or use the collossus til i can afford something else
