Charge battery threw OBDII port in car, BAD IDEA?

Is this even safe... would you guys do it? Seems to save a lot of time when charging/topping-off your batterys

Or be safe and keep it old school under the hood charge? Might not be worth the troubles huh?

should be fine with the low amperage tender you're going to use.

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
