FamilyB4Others
Is this even safe... would you guys do it? Seems to save a lot of time when charging/topping-off your batterys OBDII charge cable/harness/plug Battery tender I plan on using with the OBDII plug Or be safe and keep it old school under the hood charge? Might not be worth the troubles huh?
STEvil
should be fine with the low amperage tender you're going to use. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. FamilyB4Others
Umm, still skeptical but your answer is what I wanted to hear. Thanks Ok, I think this route is going be a lot safer. I rather change out a cigarettes port than a OBDII plug/harness if it shorts for some reason and melts.
OrionStang
I wouldn't feel comfortable with either of those. Just pop the hood and hook up the charger. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
sprkn_ranger
It seems like it would be just as easy to hardwire a battery tender to the battery rather than buy another plug just to charge.
