bdog Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 any body here have any luck sealing there rear hatch or window . i have had a hell of a time tryng to figure out where my low bass have been going i been through many box designs different amps head units and not all thats left is the rear hatch and window. Works good but don't plan on opening the window ever again LOL huh i didnt think just putting silicone on the seal would work but ok. have you tried to better the rear door/hatch seal? REP

alaskanzx5 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 get some weather stripping from home depot or lowes and add a layer or 2 thick of it to the door itself. makes a nice tight fit and reduces the rattle from it. could fill the door with expandle foam to. reduces rattles and adds weight to the door. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
